I think you've anticipated what I've been hoping to accomplish in terms of larger, more heavily-armed ships being balanced out with smaller support ships. Thus I don't have much to say about this request (which is a good thing), except that I feel I can only approve of the Recusant-class destroyer without the prow turbolaser. Perhaps the modifications of the ship into a carrier changed the power requirements such that the prow turbolaser wasn't feasible anymore? Or, more logically, it may just no longer be operable after so many years presumably requiring specialized maintenance. In either case, I'd prefer to see it either removed or inoperable.

Perhaps it's even been removed from the ship to serve as a stationary defense emplacement at a Rebel base somewhere? Much like the Echo Base power generator was originally from a capital ship.

Sorry about that. I agree to the prow turbolaser being removed and used elsewhere. I might actually reference that at a later date for another character.
