| People’s State is a paramilitary terrorist organization thatis dedicated to two purposes: create an ideal territory for all that despise
the Empire but also believes the rebellion to be too weak, and be a thorn in
the Empire’s side through extreme violence.
People’s State are composed of former Separatists, dark jedi
(ones that do not serve the Inquisitorus), Imperial academy dropouts, Imperial
deserters, pirates, hardened criminals, and basically anyone that felt they
were getting screwed over by the Empire and wanted revenge. The base of
operations will be operated out of Zonju V in Wild Space in hopes of eventually
carving the territory on the planet. However, before doing so, the People’s
State would commit extreme guerilla warfare against the Empire in order to gain
some credibility.
There are various ways to gain financial support. Drug
trade, slavery, prostitution, taking hostages for ransom, taking up bounties
for criminal organizations, robbing banks, hijack ships/vehicles and so many
more are what they can do. There are also fronts from different corners of the
galaxy to receive an influx of credits: weapon shops, slave markets, droid
dealerships, and vehicle/ship dealerships on both Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine.
I will iron the details out on the numbers part on a
separate request. I just wanted to see whether this organization would be approved
first.

| I think you have a solid premise for an organization of violent people who hate the Empire, made up of former Separatists, pirates, criminals, etc. Where I'm struggling with it, though, is the idea that they want to set up an anti-Imperial state. This feels kind of derivative of the Islamic State? Except the Islamic State is a thousands-year-old idea that's motivated by religious zealotry, and that doesn't exist here in Star Wars. Your organization seems to be made up of three kinds of people: 1.) violent people, 2.) people who are in it for the money, and 3.) violent people who are in it for the money. The problem I see with this is that violent people who are in it for the money are just as likely to work for the Empire than against it. And if they're idealistic they'd be more likely to join the Alliance. This leaves you with violent people who really, really hate the Empire. Probably not former Imperials, but a Dark Jedi would be good, as you said. Former Separatists are good. And where there's plunder, there's pirates. But establishing an anti-Imperial state? I'm not totally sold.
For one thing, this is a very diverse group of people and it would be hard to organize them all to live together under the same principles, other than hatred of the Empire. And if you're making a state, it has to stand for things and not just against them. The other problem is that it's almost impossible; the Empire will simply find it and destroy it. This is why the Rebel Alliance operates out of secret bases that change frequently. Establishing a "People's State" would be putting a huge target on your back; it puts you on the defensive, and if there's anything we learned from the Battle of Hoth it's that when the Empire is on the offensive, you either run or you die. Like this fool:
 "Target: maximum firepower!"
So I think your idea can work if it drops the idea of a "people's state" and stays more mobile. Maybe it's based on a ship? A captured Imperial dungeon ship or a former Separatist Invisible Hand-type ship would do nicely, especially since the Invisible Hand had so much hangar space you could use to accommodate your pirates, etc. Let me know what you think of that possibility. Or if you think I'm wrong, let me know that too. I could be wrong, but it just seems to me the Islamic State idea just doesn't fit that well in Star Wars.

| Also is it just me, or in the very far right of that photo is there a rebel soldier in the snow pointing a repeating cannon away from the AT-AT? Looks like he's just sitting there saying "Hey guys, where are the walkers at? I don't see them! Where are you going, guys? Guys?!"

| Also Echo Base appears to be located in a glacial valley, and yet the rebels don't make any use of those hills on either side? Sure would have been nice to have some artillery up there. A single SPHA-T could have taken out all of Blizzard Force in 2 or 3 minutes.

| After some consideration, I have decided to withdraw thisrequest seeing how it would be very hard to operate this type of organization
in Star Wars. I will make a new and a separate request on a different type of
faction I wanted Trevor to operate.
