Blackscar Squadron Support Ships

| I'd like to request as primary support and 'home plate' for the Blackscars the following vessel:
Imperial II-class frigate
While I understand 'battery' in terms of weaponry has been an issue before, I would request also that each battery on this vessel be comprised of four guns, giving it a total (in terms of individual barrels) of:
16x Turbolaser cannons
16x Ion cannons
16x Point defense laser cannons
I don't know why it lists 'tractor beam batteries' but 4x tractor beams makes far more sense than 16 tractor beams for a ship of that size.

| The Lancer is fine but, after actively considering this for almost a week (a business week, at least), I've finally decided against the Imperial II-class frigate. It's too much firepower to be a support ship. The squadron rules are really intended to be more along the lines of Lancers, Nebulon-B's, etc. I came to this decision reluctantly because it was otherwise a very excellent choice for your squadron. But it's both too large and too heavily-armed.

| It's probably a long shot, but would you consider the Vindicator-class heavy cruiser as a replacement?
Perhaps I'm being unreasonable, but I look at it this way.
Rebels enjoy:
- Shielded fighters
- Wide range of multipurpose squadrons (A-Wing, B-Wing, X-Wing) that fulfill a multitude of roles
- Starfighter-carried warhead payloads
- Hyperdrive systems mounted internally
Now on the other hand, Imperial enjoy:
- Massed squadron tactics
- Slightly faster craft
- Superior capital vessels
In short, while the Empire has a multitude of throwaway craft, the Rebels have the better quality, when set side by side. If a squadron supported by a Neb-B has their accompanying vessel destroyed, they can still go to hyperspace and escape. In turn, if a Neb-B carrying a squadron of TIE Interceptors is destroyed, the TIE pilots either die or get captured with no means of escape.
It's not a very fun proposition.
As such, and trying however slightly to even the odds, especially against player-controlled fleets that can field 120+ starighters in a single battle, I would like to request that Imperial squadrons enjoy the backing of slightly more powerful 'escort ships' such as the Vindicator, or perhaps a way to have a secondary, 'basic' backup NPC squadron that dies as normal NPCs do.

| You raise a good point that does require an answer.
But in the meantime how about a Ton Falk-class carrier? It's a very durable escape plan should the need arise.
Bear in mind also the Blackscars don't need to be limited just to TIE's. They could occasionally use Star Wings also as the mission requires. Thranta Squadron, by comparison, is able to use X-wings, A-wings, and Y-wings interchangeably.

| Make it a Neb-B2, if that's okay. Capable of carrying their primary squadron of TIE Interceptors and mission-specific squadron of XG-1 Gunboats?
