| Captains,
The two of you, amongst others, stand out as exemplary personnel amongst the Imperial Navy; personnel whom, I add, come highly recommended through a myriad of sources. As such, I have an offer of sorts for you, that will benefit your personal files, as well as bolster the security and safety within the Empire.
Recently, I have launched a campaign of sorts, which I refer to as the 'Abrion Cleansing.' It has long been my intent to drive out the vast majority of rebellious sorts; smugglers, pirates and undesirables, from the Abrion Sector. Therefore, I wish to put forth a friendly competition between yourselves and my own man, Rear Admiral Johnathan Harkness. Of course, you would need to obtain the clearance from your proper chains of command, but I am confident that such an endeavor would be smiled upon.
To make it interesting, and in the personal enjoyment of friendly competition, we could even place a small wager on the odds of whom shall destroy the most rebels.

While I appreciate the offer and consideration, I'm afraid High Command has temporarily suspended the transfer of regular forces into the sector forces, or at least for the ability for us to do so. I wish you luck in your campaign.

For a moment I was sure you couldn't be referring to me, though I am appreciative of your words of praise. I assure you, Sir, that any success I may have enjoyed is owed chiefly to the men and women whom it is my honor to command. Of course the 18th Heavy Attack Line is at your disposal if it is the will of my superiors that I be sent to assist you. Thus far, our search of the Gordian Reach for Rebel activity has been unfruitful. After so many weeks on patrol, I know there are Captains in the 18th who would love to see some action in the Abrion Sector. I will submit the request through the proper channels and shall re-establish contact with you in the event that it is approved.

I am pleased that you are willing to consider such a transfer, however temporarily, for the purposes of removal of undesirables. The Abrion Sector, troubling as it may be, has ever been a thorn when it comes to breeding such types, notably at Roon. This, Captain Lennox, is something we shall move to correct; sternly and efficiently. Anything less would be an insult to our Empire, and would call into question our devotion to its populace.
