The roar of the Nightfalcon's engine had been Cale's only companion for countless kilometers. It was a rare day when he had to head beyond Enceri for something, but certain larger power cells, as well as another generator, could only be found in a place as large and diverse in trade as Keldabe. The downside of being so far removed from any sort of hub meant that he often felt out of place when he did pay such visits to the capitol, but on the bright side, the anonymity of his helmet and equipment meant that he could still be relatively 'alone' even when among other Mandalorians. Of course, there was still the Imperial presence to contend with, but after years of consciously quashing his Force presence, it came as a second nature to him now, and he'd never given any of the occupiers a reason to think he was any different from any other Mandalore-born Mandalorian.

Theft was little to worry about, but every safety-conscious fellow locked down their speeder, and Cale was no exception within the city. Market day, by the sound and sight of it. Not entirely an unpleasant item, though he'd no intentions of visiting the wider marketplace. It was much easier to locate simple items through the stores that sold them. Power cells were a dime a dozen, in a manner of speaking. Finding the right ones for the farming equipment, though, as well as a moderately-sized portable generator, didn't promise to be too much of a challenge. It struck him that, even here on Mandalore, a merchant was still a merchant. Granted, these merchants could likely hold off a small army from their shops, but it all came down to haggling over items. More often than not, the former Jedi felt that a merchant who didn't haggle was a merchant who was up to something.

Eventually, though, his purchases were concluded and carried back to the Nightfalcon to be strapped down. He was prepared to depart, but at the last moment, deviated on a whim to a nearby tapcafe. There was something about isolation that made him yearn, now and again, to be among others.

Yes, power cells were a dime a dozen, though they certainly cost more than just a dime. The shop, not the one that had just been patroned but Drasek Cale, but the one next door to it, carried the same power cells and generators and salvaged ship parts along with some of the same brand new parts. What was more distinguished about that shop, however, was the girl who worked there. She was not Mandalorian, which was more obvious than the fact that she might not know the difference between a hydro spanner and a torque wrench.

Of course, if Juliede didn't know the difference, she certainly would not let on for as long as she could. That's aside, she stood out, certainly, especially when, as Drasek would pass by, she stepped out of her shop, sending a dozen of the same power cells he had just purchased elsewhere, scattering along the sidewalk. It wasn't that she was clumsy, not entirely at least, but it was just an accident.

Cale had, unconsciously, moved slightly to the right of the woman emerging, intending to bypass her on his way to the tapcafe. Of course, that didn't account for her sudden drop of a number of power cells, and it was more agility than anything that kept him from stepping on one, or more embarrassing, slipping on one and falling down. It wasn't an easy feat, but the armor belied the familiarity with which Cale wore it, and he managed to adeptly keep from both damaging her items and making a fool of himself.

Swearing, under his breath, he paused to turn and regard the woman, then gave a look down at the cells. "Be more careful with those," he admonished her. "Not something to have underfoot, you know, even if you do have... quite a few." His last words were given as he turned about to take in the full array of the scattering.

A huffy sigh escaped her deep, crimson stained lips as she dropped down to the permacrete and began picking up the power cells. She had been carrying too many, obviously, but luckily none had been damaged. The girl reached for a nearby basket that sat abandoned in front of the salvage shop and started to stack the various power cells into it, when she was spoken to.

"Yes, thanks. I'll be sure and do that." Jules said, her voice holding a hint of sarcasm. Of course, she had realized that she had been carrying far more than she could handle, and felt like an idiot for it in hindsight. She took a pause and pushed a stray lock of hair back from her pale face before she picked up another cell, and then stood.

"Sorry if I waylaid you in any way." His helmet hardly bothered her, as it was standard around there. She moved around him to pick up another stray power cell.
