| Just a notice; I won't be checking the site on a daily basis anymore. I've been doing so fruitlessly for the past couple of weeks. I'm disappointed how things turned out here but I'm not going to make a big speech about it—I already did that. I suppose I should have heeded my own words about false hope. I have no such floral prose for this occasion but to say, simply, this: be honest with yourself so that you can be honest with others and not be a propagator of false hope. Find your limits, know them well, thrive within them, and waste no time on anything more than this.
If anyone wants to contact me with future RP ideas and other sites, feel free to do so on Skype. Just be aware I won't see any PM's or other messages here on a regular basis.

| First thing's first: we need a manager. I handed management over to Jaron so I'd be more available to RP but the situation since then hasn't been clear. I would invite him to clarify what his status is and whether he's still interested, and if not, I'm open to suggestions for another manager. But clearly we can't do anything without a manager in place to approve profiles and requests, even if that's all he or she does.

| I have a proposal.
A story needs a conflict, and a conflict needs an antagonist. The First Order is the obvious(/only) antagonist in the Force Awakens era, and at this time it is poorly-understood. We can't exactly have someone RPing as Snoke, now can we? No.
So I propose to be the primary antagonist of the RP, at least for now. I would be the Captain of a Star Destroyer, the highest-ranking First Order character we see in the RP, and my orders would come "from Snoke" or "from Hux" (in reality, from myself). With management approval, of course. But I would like freedom to operate without having to consult management because, well, there is no management.
What I would do:
> Post reasonably often. At least, more often than anyone is currently.
> Represent the First Order in the RP.
> Engage in slaving, raids on neutral worlds, hunt for Jedi artifacts etc to provide action for players to respond to.
> Use a smaller, older Star Destroyer so that individual characters and their ships can skirmish with me without fear of annihilation.
> Promise not to kill anyone.
What you would do:
> Allow me latitude to represent the First Order as I see fit, with a short leash if I go too far.
> Approve of profiles and requests (obviously this needs to happen).
> Do not RP any First Order characters who outrank me or get in my way.
> RP more often on neutral worlds than New Republic worlds, since Republic worlds are off-limits to me.
> Meet me halfway on the smaller ship thing and don't throw a giant fleet at me.

| I'm ready to RP any role or character type. Let's just get something going lol.
--Also, while requests definitely need tending. You could drop the profile approval process. For the most part it is just a needless barrier to entry. Micro-managing everyone's profile content, picture choice and all of that is more deterrent than anything else. If something truly outrageous popped up it could easily be worked on via reply to the profile or PM.

| Hey, so I made a big post here announcing some changes to the site. But the touchpad on my laptop is seriously, seriously problematic, and my palms keep nudging it and causing random windows to open or erasing half my post... or all of my post. So it's gone now, but I'll just quickly summarize and go into more detail if you have any questions.
- I'm managing again, for now.
- Requests and profiles are done.
- Moderating profiles is a necessary evil but I won't be as stingy as I've been in the past.
- Malvern—sounds good to me.
- Introducing "events" like most other RPs do. They're not mandatory, and the RP is still open-galaxy, but RP events are a way to bring characters together if they want to participate.
In closing, this might not work but, hey, no reason not to try. I've had a burst of inspiration and it feels really good to be posting again.
