1x Immobilizer 418 cruiser - Ordan's personal flagship when in hot conflict zones.
1x Raider-class Corvette - Ordans more usual transport but in larger more dangerous warzones it escorts the Immobiliser, armed with a dozen single turbolasers its equal in punch to most corvettes.
1x The Azure Star (Research vessel) Tasked with developing new and better fighters from the prototype stage to attack Pirates and fighter based Rebels.
1x The Core Breadbasket (Field Secured Container Vessel (FSCV) tasked with food supply to the key distribution hubs of the Core, Ordan is currently appraising the Sector currently most worthy of Core supplier status)

Ordan's personal yacht (Converted Vanguard-class with passenger numbers upped to two in luxury conditions.)

Would you settle for a towed gravity well projector instead of an Immobilizer 418? You could even carry it in the FSCV, if you so desired. There's a preliminary plan in the works to have Interdictor cruisers be supplied only a mission-specific basis and Ordan having his own might conflict with that.

I hate to thrown down on a thread that isn't my own, but I'll totally pimp KDY's Interdictor-class Star Destroyer for ole' Moff Ordan here.

I would recommend pitching the design to High Command, then High Command can hand them out to Ordan or other players on a mission-specific basis. I imagine that having the bureaucracy as a friend rather than foe is the best way to get things done in the Empire.

CC-7700 frigate? I saw it as being a unique asset for Ordan to have interdiction capacity so people want to work with him?

A tethered gravity well projector would still give you interdiction capability, plus it would free you up to have an additional ship as well. The downside is it would be more fragile and presumably would be receiving power through the tether. But because of the well-balanced pro's and con's of it I think I'm going to be more likely to approve of tethered gravity well projectors rather than Interdictor cruisers or Star Destroyers except on a mission-specific basis.

Okay sounds good, say with the Grav-well generator in the detachable pod of a Star Galleon that must be detached to work?

A moment to meditate on this.

I like the idea of a sort of "pocket interdictor," but ultimately logic dictates that I say no. The reason being that a gravity well projector needs a large amount of power, presumably more than a Star Galleon can provide. I had assumed that a tethered gravity well projector would be drawing power from the reactor of the ship it's tethered to, something larger than a Star Galleon.

Let me simplify this by stating what my larger reasoning here is: I'm okay with a gravity well projector, but because it's a big tactical advantage in the context of four-ship fleets, I would rather it be vulnerable, and I feel an Immobilizer 418 is not vulnerable, at least to most ships in the RP. However I might (reluctantly) consider a CC-7700 or CC-7700/E. I realize I was against it a couple of posts ago, but I endeavor as always to be reasonable.

The interdiction pod would be deployed outside of the Star Galleon's hull and have it's own independent power on the storage sled it's attached to. Or alternatively it could require a separate ship which would latch onto it to provide deflector shields and power/control with the Galleon just as a caddy.

Or the CC Corellian thingy works.
