=========
Strengths -
=========
Well Connected:
While it's not uncommon for individuals in his chosen lifestyle to amass a
large pool of talen to call upon for various services, Slayd has
inherited a legacy of them. The Solomon name is known well in Underworld
Circles, from old timers to up-and-comers. Learned Masters, or Prodigy
Spectacles, as the family saying goes "If we can't do it, or we don't
know it. we have the contacts that will"

Fine Aged Experience:
Like the Jedi of Old, through time, repetition, focus and the domineering
eye of a practiced Master -- his grandfather. Slayd has acquired a very
diverse set of skills specifically tailored for a Solomon male. Hands-on
training, countless hours reading and exploring, decades spent learning
in the thick of things, the only place any of it really matters.

Spacers Charm:
Who doesn't love a good story? Or even a terribly bad and horrifying one?
You know there are some Smuggler Ports where you'll be sot if you can't
weave a good tale of past exploits? While you're reaching for your
Blaster, did I ever tell you about the time I found myself
enslaved--sexually--to the female Gamorrean warrior queen, Bloodtusk?
No? You'll want to sit down and hang on, friend. I hope you don't sicken
easily.

Knowledge of the Arcane:
Where a lifetime of experience, and being in the know about who's who meld.
Occult teachings, ancient rituals, forgotten civilizations, cursed
artifacts, ill-gotten treasures and all manner of other oddities; He is
regarded as the fifth most knowledgable being on these subjects in the
entire Galaxy -- not that there was much competition.

=========
Weaknesses -
=========
Superstitous:
Bad luck this, bad luck that. Giving gifts, don't even try. If he doesn't
find it, win it, make it, take it, then modify it; He is doomed to
failure with it. Human women on the crew? Are you mad?! Although it
swings both ways, at times, with things going positively well. Simple
things to much larger events are invariably regarded by his superstitous
eye.

Paranoid:
Much the same as his superstitous outlook, he is in a near constant state of paranoia.
Whether he speaks of it, or not. Many members of his family have met
their end by the hand of cultists, and he sees their symbols everywhere.

Drugs & Alcohol:
Though it could be argued some of Slayd Solomon's best work has been
accomplished with his senses dulled blind by substance abuse, he has
also made most of his poorest decisions, and suffered his worst defeats
while under the influence. Valued Possessions, Women, Children, Freedom,
Lives and Fortunes have all been lost, some more than once.

Short-Tempered:
A Devaronian's temper is nearly as famous as a Wookiees. Don't believe it? Ridicule his illustrious horns.

Cybernetic-Sickness:
You see it every once in a while, that twitch in his eye. When his implants
are on the fritz you don't want to be trapped in a ship with him. No
minor temper tantrum here, just a delirium-fueled, adrenaline-pumping
horror show. Though increasingly rare, these episodes are almost always
murderous. Batten down the hatches, and hold on to your fillings. Things
are fixing to get hairy.

=========
Combat Skills -
=========
Hand-to-Hand:
Not flashy, very ugly. Dev'ronae, the close quarter combat system of the
Devaronian Army. With Emphasis on Direct, Debilitating, or Deadly blows
and body sweeps. It's gotten the job done for Slayd so far. Though he
has sparred a time or ten from the Core to the far Rim, he has never
found need to abandon what he learned back home on Devaron.

Bladed Weapons:
Taught extensively under the Dev'ronae System, much like the Hand-to-Hand
methods, the knife fighting of the Devaronian people gets straight to
the point. There are no garish biomechanical cutting techniques that say
slice here, disable there. Every attack should maim to the point of
imminent death or kill directly.

Blaster Weapons:
The Blunt Clubs of the projectile weapon family. Though there are subtle
nuamces to truly mastering their operation, which most, if not all
criminals do in their life. Point and shoot, it usually gets the job
done. So easy a child can do it, in fact, he knows a few that do.

Slug Weapons:
Old time charm, ugly results. He understands the process, but only uses
these weapons when the time and location makes sense. Chemical
Combustion projectiles are just too involved. Ornamentally, however,
they have no rival. He carries a pistol no matter the planet or mission.
He figures it a nod to his entirely overlooked Morellian side.

Flame Weapons:
Burn Baby, Burn! These are among his favourite toys. What self-respecting
Devaronian does not master this artistry? They have a natural
inclination towards the flame, after all, those myths of devils and fire
told all around the Galaxy aren't old wives tales.

=========
Piloting -
=========
Navigation:
He knows the routes, how well they're traveled and which faction or
territory they cut through. He also maintains an extensive journal of
hidden Smuggler locales, among many other more fabled entries. He's
always made a better Navigation than Pilot.

Defensive Piloting:
He practically invented the phrase Tactical Retreat! Frequently tasked
with Smuggling cargo, he learned that more of than not, running away was
always safer than risking the haul. It should be noted, outside of his
own modified ship, his skill wanes considerably. In fact if the mission
isn't being ran from his ship, he shouldn't be allowed on the stick at
all.

Offensive Piloting:
He is one of the worst candidates you could find when you need to do some ship-on-ship
violence. It is an actual, genuine, paradox of the cosmos. He belongs
far away from the flight controls, in this situations.

Other:
Though his skill in Navigation far exceeds his skill in Piloting he is a
fairly well-rounded Star-Hopper. Having made his living as a Spacer for
many years. He has experience in Vessel Towing and Salvaging, Cargo
Hauling, Smuggling and Scavenging.

=========
Special Skills -
=========
Outlaw Technician:
A cherished hobby. He has modified every ship, weapon armour set and
vehicle he has ever owned. There have been some devastating misses, but
some massive hits too. On Zero Point Zerek, an asteroid city, home to
all manner of scoundrel and wrong-doer, he apprenticed under famed
Outlaw Tech Drehmar Proccet.

Black Marketeer:
He has brokered a great number of deals, and he always knows just who to
dial in for whatever ware you may desire. Be prepared though, these
deals over require Port Hopping.

Archaeology:
He is well known in the field itself. Unlike his Grandfather, however,
most circles in the profession consider him little more than a fanatical
tomb robber and site defilier.

Historian:
In the subjects of the occult and ancient force-religions, he has few equals.

Mythology:
Mythology and a Solomon, they go hand-in-hand.
