As a young child, before the Rise of the Empire, Kal had been accepted and studying at the Republic’s Academy, training in Military tactics. It was there he began to learn about how the Republic utilized their military might.
Shorty after the execution of Order 66, the Republic Academy evolved and reformed into the Imperial Academy. He remained enrolled and fully devoted. As he progressed and excelled over the next few years as a Cadet, there came a moment where he had been specially picked for a secret project that would transfer him to the Arkanis Academy. It was then that he knew he was meant to become an Imperial Officer. However, it wasn’t exactly what he thought. He had been hand selected to be one of the members selected as part of Project Harvest. It was there that they taught him how to bend and use the Force to his will. Just as he had excelled as a Cadet, he began to excel as a future Inquisitor.
It was a short few years before he had accomplished all but one of the requirements necessary for initiation as an Inquisitor. The final task required him to show his ability to comprehend and accomplish any mission given to him by his superiors. In this final task, he was instructed to construct his own lightsaber, and upon completion, he would need to use it and all that he had learned to extract information from one of their captors. It wasn’t an easy task, asking someone to perform those kind of excruciating acts upon a person, but to those truly devoted to the cause, it was a simple task.
The next several years of his life, he spent hunting down and extracting any and all information that the Empire requested. One way or another, he was able to accomplish his missions and perform his duties.
After the Battle Of Yavin, many believed that the Empire was crumbling. Devoted and strong, he remained, helping to keep the strength of the Empire.
