Name: Clive Winston Lennox
Homeworld: Chandrila
Species: Human
Age: 31

Force Sensitive: No

Affiliation: The Galactic Empire
Rank: Line Captain
Occupation: Imperial Officer
Vehicle: Victory II-class Star Destroyer Impavid
Weapon: Imperial sonic blaster pistol

Background: Born to a wealthy family with a martial tradition, Clive Lennox was destined from birth to follow in the footsteps of his father, Winston Lennox, an Admiral in the Old Republic Navy and fierce supporter of the Empire. Throughout his years at the Raithal Academy, Clive resented the frequent comparisons to his father, feeling that none of his achievements were appreciated as his own. He had this feeling in common with Bella Nelia, a fellow student at Raithal who would later serve in the 18th Heavy Attack Line with Lennox in the Empire's counter-rebellion campaign in the months following the destruction of the Death Star.

Although he was awarded the 18th and the Victory II-class Star Destroyer Impavid as his first command, Lennox did not share the zeal of many of his colleagues in the Imperial Navy, so eager to punish the Rebellion for the Empire's loss at Yavin. The secrecy with which the Death Star was built troubled Lennox, and the destruction of Alderaan—a planet similar to his homeworld of Chandrila in many respects—weighed heavily on his mind. Not once did he believe the confused Imperial propaganda about the Rebellion destroying Alderaan; the destruction of a planet was far beyond the capability of the Rebels, but it would be merely an afternoon's diversion for the Empire and its new "Expeditionary Battle Planetoid."

But thus far, Lennox has kept his opinions to himself, concerned not only for his career and reputation, but that of his family—a family expected to grow by one as his young fiancee, Violet, has written to him with news of her pregnancy. In the back of his mind, Lennox knows that an unborn son has forced his hand; either his politics must change, or his priorities. And soon.
