Skills:. Karth is a skilled enough duelist to go toe-to-toe with the average Inquisitor, though his technique has atrophied after many years spent in hiding. He displays a preference for Form VI, a balanced style that relies upon creativity tempered with patience. His fighting style is often unpredictable and unrefined, but strangely effective all the same.
Unique Ability:. Mindwalking is an ability that ties into Karth's inherent mastery of the telepathic aspect of the Force. Through intense concentration (that often leaves him wearied for several days afterward) he can induce a Flashburn into a specific individual, Force sensitive or otherwise. In the same vein, he can also remove these effects and with the target's consent can actually 'walk' through their memories in a metaphysical sense.

Psychological:. Karth's tumultuous history with the Jedi Order has painted his opinions on the nature of both the Force and the Jedi and Sith in an extremely negative light. He is prone to cynicism and often ruminates on his current place in the Galaxy now with the Jedi gone. He prefers to spend his days in relative peace and quiet, eking out a threadbare existence in the far reaches of space. Though considered by some to be brusque and difficult to approach, Karth still possesses a sense of morality and a desire for justice, he just lacks the optimism to attempt to change things. His connection to the Force has waned to such a degree that he considers himself impotent and unable to combat the Empire in any serious fashion. He is haunted by memories of failures long since past, of a girl he once loved and the Master he had failed.

43 BBY: Karth De'Qora is born on Kuat to an unknown lower-class family. He is given away to the Jedi Order near his second birthday once his Force sensitivity is discovered. His formative years are spent alone as Karth was a social pariah among his fellow initiates.
36 BBY: Karth meets Daneira Farris for the first time, and they form a fast friendship.
30 BBY: Karth is taken on as a Padawan by renowned Jedi Master Silas Cairne, an odd move considering Karth was slated for the AgriCorps. His first year under Cairne's tutelage nearly drives Karth out of the Order entirely, as Cairne is a ruthless taskmaster that pushes the boy past his limits.
29 BBY: Master and pupil face their first true test, bringing an end to a small-scale terrorist cell in the Coruscant Underlevels.
23 BBY: Silas and Karth are dispatched to investigate the disappearance of a Jedi team on the planet Bellassa: Karth's old friend Daneira and her Master. During the initial confusion, Karth foils an assassination attempt on the Bellassan chancellor by Daneira herself. The chancellor then enacts a coup that ousts the planetary government and captures Master Cairne. For the next month Karth, Dani and the loyalist army fight to reclaim the capital, culminating in the siege of Ussa. Karth never speaks of what happened there to anyone except for the Jedi High Council, but his Master dies in the conflict.
22 BBY: Karth eventually passes his trials and is granted Knighthood. He is soon after called into action to reinforce the GAR during the Battle of Geonosis. Following the battle, he is granted the rank of Jedi General and placed in command of the 212th Legion. Around this time, their bond having grown from their shared experience on Bellassa, Karth and Daneira enter into a clandestine romantic relationship.
19 BBY: Karth serves with distinction for three years, though he plans on leaving the Order upon the war's end so that he might live out his life with Daneira. During the war he begins to question the Jedi's greater purpose and their predilection for getting involved in war's despite their credo. He and Daneira both are deployed to lay siege to New Plympto in the waning days of the war. There, they are betrayed by their clone troopers at the outset of Order 66. Karth is stabbed by his friend, Commander Crass, but survives and manages to escape. Believing Daneira to be dead, he places a memorial for her on the planet and buries a holocron there.
15 BBY: Karth falls into the service of Berotta the Hutt, a lower tier crime lord based in the Outer Rim. Karth serves as one of Berotta's personal enforcers and collectors, working alongside an Arkanian named Hekran Rath. They form an unlikely friendship, which eventually sours.
13 BBY: Rath attempts to collect the bounty posted on live Jedi, and his fight with Karth on Baltimn is brought to the attention of the Inquisitorius. Karth defeats Hekran and leaves him for dead on Baltimn, vanishing into complete exile to avoid the pursuit of the Empire. He remains dead to the galaxy up until the Battle of Yavin.
1 ABY: Karth, emboldened by the Imperial defeat at Yavin, contemplates making himself known to the Rebellion. A premonition of the future warns him against this, and he soon discovers that the Force is calling him towards a different path. He resolves himself to rescue any lore on the Jedi that he can come across, with the knowledge that it would prove a vital discovery for future generations.
