| Name: Aaron Rawls Homeworld: Nar Shaddaa Species: Human Age: 30
Force Sensitive: No
Affiliation: None Rank: Captain Occupation: Smuggler, Mercenary Vehicle: Wayfarer-class transport Nerf Herder Weapon: SSK-7 Heavy Blaster Pistol, Combat Knife (in boot), Mk 45 Protective Vest
Background: Born on Nar Shaddaa the son of smuggler Weston Rawls, Aaron grew up in the cargo hold of his father's ship, the Dinty Moore. He was educated in seedy cantinas and counted Hutt spice barons, Weequay pirates, and Neimoidian mafiosos among his "family." Perpetually on the run from the Empire, Aaron inherited his father's distrust of authority and followed him into the family business—smuggling. Aaron, however, would read and learn from the Holonet in the small hours of the morning when his father was passed out. He was more honest and idealistic than Weston, who was killed in a fight over a game of Sabaacc. Aaron would spend the following years paying off his father's debts in the employ of the Hutt Cartel, partnering with mercenary Daegar Ghalf and mechanic Norrick Doohan and eventually earning enough credits to purchase his own ship, a beaten-up old Consular-class cruiser called the Aphelion. Rawls, Doohan, and Ghalf, considering themselves business partners, invested heavily in modifications to the Aphelion, making it one of the finest and fastest smuggling ships on the Outer Rim. It was during this time that Rawls also had a brief relationship with Zeltron mercenary Sena Terrel, which ended acrimoniously.
After a falling out with Ghalf, Rawls assembled a crew of pilot Percy Windsor and navigator Davon Vanden, as well as Mara Antares and Leroy Ransom, who he began to consider his family until Sena Terrel re-entered his life, claiming to be pregnant with his child. Reconciled to Sena's desire to settle down and have a family of his own, Rawls asked his crew to leave, using most of his savings to buy out Doohan's share of the Aphelion. Rawls discovered too late that Sena wasn't pregnant, and that her plan all along was to steal the Aphelion and leave Rawls for dead. He survived the encounter a hardened man, with injury to his pride and a desire for revenge—and, above all, to get his ship back.
Realizing that he had been self-absorbed and cruel to his former crewmates, and knowing that he'll need their help to get the Aphelion back, Rawls now sets out to reunite the crew for their greatest challenge yet.
