History:   Born and raised on Chandrila, Ilanah learned everything that she knew of
politics from her parents, who were both diplomats. Her mother died
when she was still in school when she was 18, and her father has since
retired and lives in a large manor just outside of one of the larger of
the planets cities.

She served in the senate until it was dissolved, and then returned home to sit on the Chandrilian Council and on the board for the Chandrilian School of Humanities and Arts, which is partially funded by her family in her mothers memory.
