History:

With twenty-eight kills credited to his name by the Battle of Yavin, Jarec Rissen was a minor legend amongst his own squadron. Originally stationed on the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Stalker, he gained the nickname 'Ironsides' when, during a skirmish, he lost one of his TIE/ln's solar panels to a glancing blow. Despite the difficulties in piloting and damage to his vessel, he not only managed to destroy his attacker, but save the lives of one of his wingmen as well. Outside of the battlefield, Rissen was a charming and charismatic fellow, with a head for schooling. Having graduated in the top three percent of his class from the Imperial Academy at Prefsbelt IV, he was bound for high places, but with his aptitude for flight, he chose to remain in the starfighter corps, quickly rising through their ranks.

Chosen as a test pilot for a number of Imperial designs, Rissen was actually present at the Battle of Turkana where, in one of the Interceptor prototypes, he scored four kills; despite the Empire's loss of the day, it was counted as a personal win for Rissen and the Interceptor. Now, at the head of the small, but elite unit of Blackscar Squadron, the 132nd, he awaits transport to his next duty station.
