| "Rebel Scum." She muttered before she tossed the spent blaster onto the ground and stepped over the smoldering corpse of a Lorrdian rebel, and out of the frame.
"Cut!" A director yelled before he jumped out his seat annd crossed the set as the lights were pulled up to full brightness. "Ana, that was perfect, really. Great job, as always." He gushed as she pulled off the leather costume gloves that she was wearing.
"For Force's sake, Dom, could the writers really not have thought of a better line?" Ana wasn't angry really, never angry, or rude when filming anything, just shocked that these writers seemed to love just that particular line. He stammered a minute ad she gave him a smile as she handed her glvoes and jacket to an assistant. "It's fine, really. So we are good here? Just call if you need anything re-shot?" She said before she started to walk away, the assistant hot on her heels.
"Mrs. Stark, should I call your car for you?" The girl said as she fumbled with a notebook, the sweater, and a comm unit. Ana kept walking, with the assistant still clumisly on her heels.
She paused after entering the dressing room, before she stepped behind a changing screen to change into her regular clothes.
"No, Alyn said he was coming. We are going home to Kuat for a while since I don't have anything scheduled." She had done it on purpose, of course, to get some time away from Imperial Center, and just be...Ana Stark. "Or maybe on vacation...I'm not sure yet." She said as she finished changing, then stepped out and dropped down onto a sofa in the dressing room. Ana had chosen a pair of tight fitting denim pants, a slouchy white sweater with a lace camisole underneath, and she slipped her feet into a pair of red high heeled shoes. She touseled her hair with her fingertips, before she stood and grabbed her handbag and fished out a pair of sunglasses. "Thank you though, for everything...you've been great." Ana said before she strode out and made her way towards the exit.

| The luxurious hover-limo pulled to a halt just outside the main entrance to the holo-filming complex where Ana was working. From the front seat, the driver activated the internal comm system, giving a nod to the bodyguard who sat shotgun. "Mr. Stark, we've arrived. Would you like Davis to escort your wife out?" In the spacious rear, capable of seating eight people easily with room to spare, the sole occupant, Alyn Stark, shook his head at the tinted separator. It was a force of habit, though he knew neither men in the front could see him. "No, Jenns, that'll be fine. Ana's a big girl. She's got her own people as well, and a walk to a car shouldn't be a problem." With as many people clamoring for her to sign autographs or get a look at her, she was well equipped with a veritable army of assistants and security; one more person wasn't going to make her any more safe.
Checking the schedule on his datapad, Stark observed that they were well ahead of the time for liftoff. It would be nice returning to Kuat after six weeks on Imperial Center. For Stark, there was politicking enough on Kuat. He left the larger work to those on Imperial Center.

| And sign autographs she did. Ana had never been the kind to turn anyone away for either photos or autographs, so the relatively short walk took a fair amount of time, which Alyn should have been used to. Finally, Ana slid into the limo, once her bodyguard opened the door for her, and he closed it behind her. She let her bag drop onto the seat next to her, and Ana finally gave a glance to Alyn through her dark glasses.
"Well...look at you." She said before she removed her glasses and moved over to sit next to him. "Are you ready to go home? Because I really....really am." She smiled and slid her arms around his neck, completely ignoring the datapad that he was perusing. "The apartment here is nice, but nothing like home...and time off. Right?" Of course, she really did not know what he had planned when they got back to Kuat, and while she planned on taking the time for herself, and to spend with him, she was sure something would come up that either both or one of them would need to do.

| When Ana arrived and entered, Stark did her the courtesy of setting aside the datapad. Granted, he was often too absorbed with his work, but it would have been exceptionally rude to his wife to ignore her in such a manner. "Well, look at you!" He beamed, returning her embrace while looking her over. "Another fun day at the shoot, huh? Has to beat meetings by a long shot. However, I'm hoping to return to Kuat with some new ideas to put into practice. Could be quite useful to the company."
She was right, however. Their penthouse suite, no matter how expansive and filled with luxury, was nowhere near the equivalent of their home on Kuat. "I am quite ready to make the trip home. It should be little more than an eventful few days. I was considering plotting a course that would allow us to visit perhaps some of the vacation-related worlds that we do not often get to make it out to."

| Ana paused for a moment when Alyn asked her about the movie shoot. She loved what she did, truly, but sometimes it seemed like there was nothing original coming out of the screenwriters anymore. "I am glad that it's over, I will just say that." She finally said after several lingering moments. "It is definitely time for a break." She gave him a smile and then leaned back in the seat next to him.
They had been married a few years, but it had always been her off working somewhere, or him off working somewhere, so there was rarely time for the two of them alone. "I think a vacation sounds nice, if you feel up to turning your datapad off for a few days." Ana teased as she leaned over him, and toggled the switch on the side of the device to turn the power off. "And I will do the same..." She handed him her commlink, which hadn't stopped buzzing from incoming messages since she got into the limo, turning it off as she did.
Some folks, Ana had noticed, could not live without the constant connection, but she was more than sure that she could. In fact, she was so unattached to her comm most of the time, that she had lost several in the years that they had been married, and had to keep replacing them. That was the reason she had an assistant, she surmised, because the Corellian girl kept tabs on not only that, but her schedule and, well...pretty much everything else in her life.
"Think you can handle that, Alyn Stark?"

| Stark frowned slightly, where Ana couldn't see, when she turned off his datapad. He hadn't gotten to his Master Technician spot by shirking his duties, after all, and while Stark was a very loyal Imperial, he was neither warrior nor battle-leader, content instead to build ships and design new vessels for the Empire. Stark was one of those folks who often needed the constant connection to stay abreast of things. Especially in the business world, where one false step or missed opportunity could lead to utter disaster.
"I think," he replied carefully to his wife, "That perhaps we could take a vacation in which we remained partially connected to the outside world, but still enjoy ourselves. I mean, is your movie complete now, love? Or won't you have to return soon? My work, as you know, I can do almost from anywhere, at least on the design board portion of it. Right now, though, the Empire seems quite happy with what's being turned out at work."

| "Oh don't pout...." She smiled, having caught just a small glimpse of his down turned lips. Although, she did think it was cute, but she also felt that he needed a break. Ana sighed and slumped back in the seat before she switched the datapad back on for him. "Any vacation with you is better than none at all." She still left her comm laying there, turned off, however.
"The movie is done, unless they call me back for any re-shoots, but I doubt that will happen." It rarely ever did. "So I am all yours until the Corellian diamond ads start shooting next month." Idly, Ana rubbed his arm lightly before she moved back to her own side of the speeder so that he could go back to whatever work he had been working on, though she would continue to talk to him.
"So where would you like to go? Somewhere close or far? Or a cruise? Oh we haven't been on a cruise in....a long time."

| "I'm not pouting!" He protested, upon being caught at pouting. Ana knew him all too well, after all. Considering the month ahead, he planned out, mentally, what needed to be done. "I have to finish up some work on a design I intend to put forth to the Imperial Navy; beyond that, I don't have much. I'm hoping that they'll be willing to accept it, despite the hefty price tag." He referred to the Interdictor-class Star Destroyer, KDY's answer to their own Immobilizer 418.
"As for a vacation spot? Well..." He consulted his datapad. "We could always take a trip to lovely Chandrila, or perhaps the oceans of Mon Calamari? Unless, of course you wanted to just fly there and actually take a water-based cruise?"

| She contemplated his suggestions for several moments, and almost beyond that, as she tried to decide. Ana had never been on an actual water-type cruise before. Only what was considered 'star cruises', aboard seriously luxurious yachts that went well past local places and into some of the most beautiful parts of space. And the last time she had been on a boat was the last time she was on Naboo, which was....was it ten years ago? Something like that. She and a friend had spent time boating in the Lake Country before his mother passed away. Ana clicked her tongue against her teeth as she thought about it and stared absently out of the window of the hover-limo.
Her gaze trailed back to Alyn as he looked at his datapad. "How about....you finish doing whatever contract you need to finish, and we can decide and go if you have time once it is done." She said, compromising. "Going home is good enough for me for now." It wasn't a lie, she hadn't been home to Kuat in months, but it wasn't entirely the truth either. There was something about getting away from it all that appealed to her, especially after so much time apart. She also understood needing to work, but in his case, it almost seemed to be his entire life at times.
"Or maybe I could go to Naboo and visit my father for a few weeks, to give you space to work." Ana suggested quietly.

| "I don't need time away from you to be able to work," he said with a smile, reaching out to cup her cheek. "Besides, you've been busy as of late with your shoot, and I've all but got this down. It's all conceptual work I can organize from my datapad. No reason to return to Kuat, if you don't want to." He had no issues with returning home, of course. It might do them both a world of good if they were to do so, but the thought of Naboo's calming waters and relatively peaceful grasslands appealed to him as well. Imperial Center, despite its allure, often felt far too confining.
"Naboo sounds quite nice, actually," he admitted. "Perhaps we ought to take a trip there? After all, we could do practically every sort of cruise there. Space, water, underwater, even." Work was, for Stark, a large part of his life. His second wife, he called it jokingly, at times, but there was a large amount of truth to it. He hadn't gotten to where he was with Kuat Drive Yards by shirking and slacking off. Being at the top, however, had its advantages. A vacation was something that could be accepted, especially, as he'd told his wife, since he could do his work remotely.

| "You know, Alyn Stark...it is really difficult to start that family that we always talked about when your ships are your first love." She teased him when he touched her cheek.
So, "Alright, Naboo it is...." She said as she watched him carefully. Ana had no issue going to Naboo- it had been a couple of years at least. A few of her friends had visited on Kuat and her father came to Imperial Center and spent a week with her, but she missed them. While she wouldn't make their first vacation in...well, she couldn't remember how long...all about her friends and family. It was supposed to be time for the two of them, but she would be sure to fit in a little time with her father.
"Once we are to the ship, I can call ahead and make sure the Lake Country house that we liked it ready." She pondered it for a moment. "We should maybe buy it, I think." Ana said absently. "Or would you prefer staying in a hotel in Theed or somewhere?" It had been thoughtless of her to not ask that. The solitude of the Lake house would have been nice.

| "Now I may love my ships," he said with a laugh before moving forwards to kiss her lightly, "But you are, by quite a good stretch, the person I love most. And we do need to start getting on to that family thing, before I get too old to have children, that is."
Stark knew how much Ana missed home; how little time she was actually able to get away, between shoots and fans and signings and showing up for this and that, not to mentioned being his wife and juggling her schedule with his. He'd never had a problem with Ana's family, either; if anything, he felt a tad awkward around them, but such were the differences between Naboo and Kuat, and while he felt at home practically anywhere the nobility were, there was always something about meeting the in-laws that made him feel strange.
"Why stay in a hotel if we can stay at that nice place in the Lake Country? In fact, buying it might not be a bad idea, and not just from a relaxation standpoint. I hear property on Naboo is going up. Could be a good idea to invest early. In fact, why don't we take my ship? Less people, less crowded. Just us. Granted, less amenities, though. No hot tub on board."

| "I cannot believe you, Alyn Stark! Buying a ship with no hot tub! It's almost unheard of. How ever will we survive the journey?!" She teased, though at first he might have thought otherwise. "I simply cannot slum that much." Ana smirked and then picked up her comm, which was still off, and she tossed it into her purse. "I probably should have married someone who had a hot tub on his ship." She combed her fingers through her dark hair before she relaxed back against the seat.
He was right, about Ana missing home. She was happy with her life, and she loved her job, but sometimes it just felt like there was something missing from it. It was not like her to complain, so she never did. "We can always wait....on the family...." She finally said. "I think we have a few years before either of us have to worry about being too old."

| "With speed and good armaments," he replied good-naturedly. "Not everything has to be a perfect yacht. Besides, I had a personal hand in the Infinite Thought's design," he said, referring to the converted freighter that was his vessel. "I'd trust my family in its care more than I would most pleasure cruise ships." Granted, the droid brain that ran it was a bit eccentric, but he'd never seen any reason to purge the memory. Eccentric could be good!
"Well, no time like the present," he returned to her comment about family. "The galaxy is stable enough under the Emperor's rule, and we're quite safe at Kuat. Why, I even heard that there was some Admiral coming by to refit there. With that much presence in the system, it doesn't get any better." Not to mention their status and wealth. "After all, it's not like the rebels will ever threaten Kuat or Imperial Center."
