The Infinite Thought sped easily through the swirling blue vortex of hyperspace.  Ana had always thought it was beautiful, and often
found herself sitting in the co-pilots seat, watching.  Not this trip, so far, however, she had settled herself in the lounge area and did some work for the charity that she had founded, as well as reading holo messages that had come in during the several days she had ignored them. Offers for film roles, invitations for events, etc, filled her message box, and she flipped through them absently.

The truth was, Ana was ready for a vacation, away from the lights and the work.  So they were going to Naboo for a few days, and then on a cruise, and then home to Kuat.  It would be nice, she had thought, to spend time with Alyn. There had not been much of that since they were married.  He was always working, or she was always working, and their paths crossed, but not nearly often enough.

Finally, she shut the datapad off with a disgusted sigh and laid it on the side table.  Ana pulled herself to her feet and walked up to the cockpit before she dropped herself into Alyn's lap, unannounced, and without any sort of hesitation.  She enjoyed time like this, when she was dressed casually and not made up to the nines for flashing cameras or rolling film.

"How long before we get there, sweetheart?"  She murmured as she slid her arms around his neck.  There was no hurry to get there, it was just mild
curiosity.

Stark had never understood how Ana found the Infinite Thought to be a beautiful vessel. The Corellian Engineering Corporation-made YV-666 was upgraded with Kuat Drive Yards parts and practically rebuilt inside the original shell, but the damned thing still looked like a box with wings at the aft end. The ship had a tri-deck layout; like all YV-666s, the command deck was located at the top of the vessel; their quarters, Stark's small armory and work station and accompanying rooms were on the middle and the lowest deck held maintenance droids and the engine systems. It was a functional ship, but unassuming in appearance; traders used its like galaxy wide, and even some bounty hunters. It allowed Stark to travel in perspective to the rest of the galaxy as well, and served to be unobtrusive.

Stark had been reviewing some of the power output logs when Ana came in. Smiling at his wife as she plopped herself down, he wrapped his arms around her waist, looking up at her. "I'd estimate perhaps an hour or two. I'm not pushing the engines too hard. No real reason to put her through her paces. How does it feel to be away from the city life?"

It was not the vessel itself, but the swirling blue vortex of hyperspace that she loved to watch.  Ships held little to no interest to her, though she tried to show an interest any time he showed her a new ship design.  It was important to him, but they were not something she really understood.

"I am not concerned about how long it will take to arrive.  I was merely curious."  Ana said as she glanced to what he had been looking at- again, something she did not understand.  "We have no reason to rush anything."  She said softly before she hugged him tightly.  It felt good to be back with him, no matter what they were doing.

Ana thought about his question for a moment.  "I sometimes think that I would be just as happy on Kuat, as on Imperial Center, if not more so.  I love what I do, I really do, but sometimes the schedule is just too much and I feel...." She hesitated. "...Burnt out.  And I hate the traffic."  She had, not once, driven the speeder he had gotten her, because of how busy the planet always seemed to be.  "It is just too busy at times."

Despite their differences in certain core areas, the Starks had always managed to overcome what separated them, and it meant a lot to him when she took the time and effort to look into his designs, even when he knew she didn't grasp the concept or the full scope. Likewise, he had little direct interest or ability in acting, but he paid full attention when she was speaking of it. "I'm so used to being on schedules and deadlines that I'm starting to feel like I've forgotten how to take a vacation." His words were a joke, of course, but also uncomfortably close to the truth.

"Perhaps we could return to Kuat more frequently. There are holoproducers there who would be just as happy to work with you as the ones on Coruscant would." It was a partial truth; one they both knew. The best producers, the best career and publicity, all came from Coruscant. It wasn't to say she couldn't be successful on Kuat, but why settle for a lesser level?

"But, on the bright side, barring any issues, an hour or two. Plenty of time for us to relax here."

Of course, as soon as he mentioned working on Kuat, her brain started turning out ideas.  "Or....we could just live on Kuat. You know...in that gorgeous house of ours that we barely see." Ana started.  She didn't have to work if she didn't want to, that was for certain, she just enjoyed it. "And if a director or producer wants Ana Stark that badly, they can come to her, instead of the other way around." Of course there was always the option of smaller, independent films. Less anti-rebel, pro-Imperial action stuff. Or someone could always build a studio on the planet, which would bring more jobs, an idea she liked very much.

"We have no schedules, deadlines, or plans the next couple weeks, darling. We both need it, though sometimes I think you do more than I do." She said before she finally removed herself from his lap and dropped into the co pilots seat. "And maybe, when we get home, you can take me out to the shipyards and show me what new things you have been working on."
