Shirnoq had been at Ord Biniir a standard week, and it was beginning to rankle him. True, there were certain systems checks to be performed, minor upgrades to all the ships, especially after such an extended venture out with inclusive combat. There were reports to file, notations to make and, of course, TIE Hunters to return. That had bothered Shirnoq to no end. Despite the Empire's preference of cheap fighters, the captain could well see the value in a slightly slower starfighter that had shields and a warhead system. As such, he'd put in a request for any available TIE Aggressors, TIE bombers or, if he was lucky enough, a few of the new XG-1 Star Wings he'd heard about. It was bad enough he'd lost a handful of fighters and pilots during the spurts of combat. Here, on the frontlines of the war, as he saw it, without even a proper interdictor, the least he ought to have was an edge in snubfighters.

For now, though, he continued to wait, passing on orders for proper R&R groundside and for training to continue in the meantime.
